Hi, I’m Marly, a writer, wanderer of thoughts, and lifelong learner of love, grace and starting over.

I’m a mom of two incredible daughters, a wife (for the second time), a friend who loves hard, and a woman who’s made her share of mistakes and grown deeper because of them.

I was adopted as a newborn, raised in the wide open spaces of South Texas where country roads and quiet skies shaped the way I see the world. I learned the value of simplicity, faith and slowing down. I’ve always called small towns home, and I carry a deep belief in the power of kindness, connection and community.

I’m a college graduate who still believes some of the best lessons come from outside the classroom. I love words, both reading them and writing them and also have a soft spot for travel, stories and second chances.

This blog is my place to unbutton the edges, take a deep breath, and write from a space that’s unfiltered, honest, and full of heart. If you’re here, welcome.
